Intersect was a primary sponsor in the Wagga Hack4Good hackathon held on 27/29 November 2015 at Charles Sturt University,Wagga Wagga.

As part of the National Social Inclusion Week, the focus was to better connect youth with community. Local school students were invited to the university for a student hack experience where they learned how to use MIT App Inventor to create basic apps and contribute ideas. Then, a new type of local event idea, nicknamed ‘Funner’, was developed and an app prototype created. The app will be further developed by school students and community groups in further hacking meetups over the coming months. This inaugural Hackathon is expected to be an annual feature in the Wagga in future years.
