Trainstation Terms of Use

These terms relate to the use of the Intersect Trainstation training platform (“the Platform”). By accessing or using this environment, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

1. Purpose of the Platform

The Platform is provided strictly as a temporary, sandboxed environment for authorised training courses, workshops, and educational demonstrations facilitated by Intersect. It is not a production environment or a long-term cloud compute or storage solution.

2. Account & Data Persistence

  • Temporary Environments: Your user account, environment configurations, and any data uploaded, generated, or processed within the Platform are strictly temporary.
  • Automated Deletion: All user accounts, environments, and data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted during regular post-training maintenance cycles without prior notice.
  • No Backups: Intersect does not back up data stored on this Platform. It is solely your responsibility to download or export any work, scripts, or results you wish to keep before your training session concludes.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes related to your designated training session. You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Uploading, processing, or storing Sensitive Data, including but not limited to: personally identifiable information (PII), protected health information (PHI), financial data, commercial-in-confidence data, or highly classified research data.
  • Using the platform for any activities that unrelated to the training that you are participating in.
  • Knowingly undertaking any action that degrades, disrupts, or compromises the security, performance, or integrity of the Platform or underlying infrastructure.

4. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without any warranties of any kind. Intersect explicitly disclaims any liability for:

  • The loss, corruption, or deletion of any data uploaded to or generated on the Platform.
  • Any service interruptions, downtime, or technical errors during training sessions.
  • Any direct or indirect consequences arising from your use of the Platform.

5. Termination of Access

Intersect reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, without notice, for any reason—including if we suspect a violation of these Terms of Use.
