He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in High Performance Computational Physics and a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Adelaide. Ankit brings over 5 years of international research experience from postdoctoral and associate roles at King’s College London (UK) and UCLouvain (Belgium), alongside more than 8 years of hands-on expertise in programming software and high-performance computing (HPC) systems. In his DRA role, Ankit serves as a computational bridge for researchers and Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students, providing one-on-one consultations for code optimisation and data pipelines, delivering hands-on digital skills training, and guiding access to advanced infrastructure such as NCI’s Gadi supercomputer and the ARDC Nectar Research Cloud.
