Intersect offers hands-on, research-oriented training courses on digital tools and technologies to thousands of researchers every year. Since 2013, more than 20,000 researchers from member institutions have trained in over 1500 courses. In 2020, the entire training catalogue successfully moved to online delivery, increasing access to research training for off-campus researchers.
Individually Ticketed Training Launch
Now, in 2021, Intersect training is more accessible than ever with training being available to all researchers from all institutions on an individual basis. This new service means researchers who are not affiliated with a current Intersect member can still access our hands-on, research focused training courses.
The service launched on March 15th, 2021 with the very first course, Data Capture and Surveys with REDCap delivered by eResearch Analyst, Shaun Grady, and eResearch Services Manager, Ghulam Murtaza. This was quickly followed by our popular Getting Started with NVivo course the very next day.
