Congratulations Prof Mary O’Kane, 2016 Companion of the Order of Australia

Intersect celebrates New South Wales Chief Scientist and Engineer Emeritus Professor Mary O’Kane’s appointment as Companion of the Order of Australia in the Australia Day honours 2016 for her outstanding work in supporting science and research over the past decades.

Professor O'Kane is recognised for eminent service to science and engineering, as a contributor to national policy development and governance, to the promotion of technology research and future energy supply, to higher education, and as a role model for young scientists.
