NeCTAR is currently negotiating 23 successful projects, selected from more than 80 project proposals submitted last November. One third of all proposals received, worth $23 million, are progressing to the contract negotiation phase.
Intersect was involved in 19 proposals, eight of which have gone forward, being 4 eResearch tools and 4 virtual laboratories.
The 23 projects under negotiation include 5 Virtual Laboratories in the fields of astronomy, environmental change/weather science, humanities, characterisation and genomics; 15 eResearch Tools across a mix of disciplines and 3 Research Cloud proposals. More at http://tiny.cc/1tg41
